While former President Donald Trump was running for President this time around, there were many things he said he would change once he was back in the White House.
He said he would get rid of the U.S. Department of Education.

He also said he fancied the idea of being a King or a Dictator, even if only for a day.
Within the Project 2025 Report, which is a 900-page plan created by the Heritage Foundation, an off-shoot organization of Republicans, is a long list of changes that may well come to fruition now that Donald Trump won the November 5, 2024, Presidential Election.
Social Security is also said to be on the hit list of things that, if Donald Trump has his way, would change immensely in a new Trump Administration.

Workers must be (at least) 62 years old and have paid into the system for 10 years or more to qualify for Social Security retirement benefits. Workers who wait to collect Social Security until age 70 will receive higher monthly benefits.
