As I write this week’s SCOOP column, I have CNN on in the background. I’ve been closely monitoring CNN, MS-NBC, CBS, ABC, and NBC for the last six days or so, looking for any new updates on what Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, might be doing in terms of aggression towards Ukraine–and then it happened. Putin ordered his troops to make the move to invade Ukraine, unprovoked, I might add.
The reality is, (if you are a person of faith and you believe in God), He made all of us, of all these different nationalities, and He doesn’t make mistakes. It’s just a shame that for all these years the world has been in existence, there have been people from different parts of the world who have wanted to wage wars on people from other parts of the world. Why? For power, glory, money, land, oil, gold, and more power. They’ve also wanted to start wars at times, just because folk from one nation are white and folks from another nation have a darker skin color. How ridiculous can you get?
