I pray that we all are striving to live by the word of God (Allah) and be examples of what a god-fearing person does.
We have much work to do, and my heart is heavy after hearing about an 11-month-old girl being shot in the head in New York, and my prayers are with her for complete healing. Also, I pray that the shooter is brought to justice! We have a lot of work to do! Not a day goes by without someone being murdered, making national news, and it seems the murders are random, not self-defense. The increase in crime is a problem!
I have noticed that some of the stores that I shop at have or are changing their return policy. The change at The Home Depot goes into effect on February 7, 2022. It states you need a receipt to return an item unless you purchased it on your store card. Please strive to have your receipts emailed to you to avoid the hassle of returning merchandise that you do not want or no longer need.
The return policy at Macy’s has me not wanting to shop there anymore because they mail a merchandise certificate to you that you can only use in the store, not online, which sometimes has lower prices. The curtains I wanted were on sale for $19.99 a panel, but in the store, they were $42.99, so I did not buy them because I could not apply for the merchandise certificate.
