I pray that we are striving to obey God (Allah) and live according to the truth! We need to know the truth, just like we need oxygen, because without it, how can we be healthy? If God (Allah) does not lie, and we bear witness that his word is truth, it is hard to have two different diets.
The Bible lets us know that the truth will set us free, but free from what might be a question for all of us to ask and answer. What is it we need to be free from? Again, we need to know the truth, and we should not be afraid even when that information would shake up everything we thought we knew. Why would the Bible say, “Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful.’” (Revelation 21:5)
I want to be made new, how about you? How would the new you look? How would the new you talk? How would the new you think? How would the new you act? If you have already made some changes years ago, make a list of the things or ways in which you have changed and are now changing. Then we will see what direction we are going. Please do not be too hard on yourself. We all have improving to do. We all have fallen short of the glory of God (Allah), but we still must strive daily to be better. Insha’Allah (Be it the will of God), we will become a new people!
