My prayers go out to the families who lost a member of their family or friend in the Waukesha, WI Christmas parade. Also, my prayers go out to the people that were physically injured during this horrific act. This brought tears to my eyes when I saw some of the videos on Fox News about this situation that happened on Sunday.
There is a climate that has been created where some people have low regard for human life. For some people, it is very low. The other day, Philadelphia, PA, reached 500 murders this year, but this is just the end of November. Unfortunately, that number will increase because, as I said, there is very little regard for human life. This is a problem, and we all are affected by the different crimes that take place not just in our community, but all over the world. Some people choose not to watch the news because of all the depressing situations going on, but not watching or reading, or listening to various sources of current events, may hinder your ability to stay connected with the time and what you should be doing. They say, “You should keep one ear on scripture and the other on who is talking to you.” That is how you can identify who is talking to you.
