All around the world populations of people get into the Christmas Spirit– and in the City of Chester, it appears that everyone from the Mayor and City Council, Civic Organizations, and the city’s residents enjoyed the joys of the season.
Over at Chester City Hall, Toys for Tots showcased an array of bicycles along with bags and tables overflowing with toys left by Santa to fulfill the wish list of the city’s children. Duane Lee, Director of Parks and Recreation was on hand to greet parents and children. Councilwoman Elizabeth Williams was joyfully greeting residents and providing families with turkeys for their Christmas dinners.
Lady Chaplain Lisa Dennis and friends delighted the elderly residents of Stetson Towers and Palmer House with some old fashion caroling. This was reminiscent of the days of old when carolers went door to door spreading melodic holiday cheer.
