My Scoop Usa Family,
Praises be, much love and respect to everyone this bright and promising New Year!
First, once again, I must apologize for My MIA. That demon bug continues to knock me down, but God–through his grace, glory, and mercy/love lifts me up, picks me up, and continues to move me forward under extraordinary circumstances.
Brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen, my health battles wage on for My Lord will push me straight ahead victoriously!
How’s everybody and everything? Today, I am overly excited to speak on our seniors, the elder’s phenomenal night out at the premiere of The Color Purple at the AMC Theater 7, Broad & Oxford St.
Yes, yes, yes, Committee For A Better North Philadelphia, Inc. Senior Programming brought a Hollywood Red Carpet EXTRAVAGANZA right in the Heart of North Philadelphia!!! What a fabulous affair!
Many of the folks came to impress through dress, attitude, graciousness, gratefulness, charm, and boldness, which was boundless. My family, when our elders step out for a special occasion, look out cause they know how to Step-Out! Gold, Silver, Black, and Purple flowed throughout the Night.
Queen Oprah, your Court went beyond fabulous. They stood tall and firm in splendid, cool, smooth, and praiseworthy refreshing.
You felt the joy, the pleasantries, the camaraderie, the excitement of an unfolding, much-anticipated event experience. Miraculously, we filled two of their largest theaters in the AMC! The Manager of the place, Justin, and his staff treated the Movie Goers as though “They were pure gold,” creating an atmosphere of a King’s Royal Reception. Everything was Wonderful, Fantastic, Extraordinaire–but always with us, there going to be a few disappointments because Someone (people) is/are not going to be happy no matter what! And in our eight years of doing our Movie Day, we have never ever had a “problem!” Nonetheless (for those who had issues), we will make it right, right on!!!
And let me add this, from the Pearl Theater to now AMC, we have had the greatest working relationship with every Manager and their staff possible! But Justin, he’s one of a kind!!! The Best Beyond The Best! Thanks for everything, and most importantly, Justin, Thank You for being who you are.
