Sometimes, life gets so busy that we forget to take time (to simply) smell the roses. While some folk pray, they still forget–to just sometimes be grateful.
As I look back over the year 2023, like in every year, so much happens in our world. So much hap- pens in these cities we live
in, good and bad. But do we take the time, sometimes, just to be thankful and grateful for what we have and to use it to lift up others?
I am thankful and grateful today for the SCOOP USA Newspaper. It is a very important tool that Sherri Dar- den, Publisher of the SCOOP, has and that she uses every week in different ways to lift up people who read our newspaper, whether in New Jersey, in Delaware, or right here in Pennsylvania. Don’t forget the SCOOP is also online and on the radio at WWDB/AM.
Through our Publisher, we use SCOOP Media to ed- ucate and inform our readers, listeners on the radio, and those who check out what we do on YouTube and the SCOOP website.
I am thankful and grateful to be associated with an African-American female-owned media outlet that strives to make a positive difference each and every time we are published.
