The celebration of Black History Month in America began with the celebration of Negro History Month in February 1926.
The first celebration of Black History Month took place in 1970, prompted by black scholars and Black Students United at Kent State University. I embraced the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad being taught by His National Representative, Minister Louis Farrakhan, so the 28 days became a daily experience.
Why is discussing and teaching Black limited to one month? Where is the executive order or action regarding that? Who are students in public schools learning about the other 11 months? Is that equality? We have had a black President, Obama, and this was not even addressed.
The Master and Slave relationship still exists and will continue to flourish unless we break the mental and spiritual chains of falsehood, so we can embrace God (Allah) freely. Please do not think that just because we are not in physical chains, that we are free! If we think that we are free, we will stop fighting to be free. Webster’s dictionary gives several definitions of the word free defined as an adjective, one is not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one wishes. Another definition stated is, able or permitted to take a specified action; historical, not a slave. The Bible says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32) In this world, we can move around as long as Master gives us permission, or we will get fired or canceled.
I remember when Dave Chappelle walked away from a 50-million-dollar contract because of what he called “the entertainment industry’s tone-deafness regarding black entertainers and audiences.” What values and morals have you personally sacrificed to be pleasing to Master? I remember the movie Indecent Proposal. What would you have done? Minister Farrakhan said, “I can’t be brought!”
The Minister is a person that has been offered millions to stay in other countries and help them, but he has always turned them down because it is not about the money. It is about freeing His people first in America. Listen family, if you do not think you are a slave, then you will not look or work to be free!
How do you approach religion? Why are our churches called 2nd Baptist? Where is the first? Who was the first group to break from the Catholic church? Why? We need to ask questions, get answers and make some decisions that God (Allah) would be pleased with. They have labeled Minister Farrakhan as a racist, but he is not! Why is the label necessary? What impact has the labeling had on black people?
So, if the Master does not like someone, we should not like them? Minister Farrakhan stated that “If you can prove that one word I have stated is not true, I will stop teaching.” They call him many things, but never a liar.
I remember when they asked Obama to denounce Minister Farrakhan and he did. I remember when they asked Obama to denounce Pastor Jeremiah Wright, Jr., and he did. To denounce is to publicly declare to be wrong or evil. Is Minister Farrakhan evil? Is Pastor Wright, Jr. evil? Absolutely not, but was that necessary? Are we not even allowed to pick our own Pastor? Can we not even pick our own friends? Why do we insist on pleasing Master?
We need to listen and study for ourselves, and based upon that, make an informed decision. The Master and Slave relationship must end! We should be working to free not just ourselves, but every oppressed person from the influence and control of Master.
We should look into why people want to talk about racism. Please ask yourself why is racism the focus now? It goes deeper than that! White people voted and got Obama into the Oval Office! Would a racist do that? I am watching and I find it very interesting that Master is allowing blacks to criticize whites on a white platform, something bigger is going on.
What happened to white superiority and black inferiority? It is possible to enslave a person that has the knowledge of themselves and the knowledge of God (Allah). For Master to be successful they must keep us illiterate. They must keep us dependent on them and not even desiring to do for ourselves. Please pray and ask God (Allah) to keep you safe!
