Temple University to host 15th annual Neighborhood Job and Resource Fair

Temple University will host the 15th annual Neighborhood Job and Resource Fair this Friday, June 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is the largest annual job fair and resource village that is held in Philadelphia, and just under 100 employers will be on site, hiring for positions that range from entry level to executive level management. The event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is preferred. Attendees can register here.

When: Friday, June 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Aramark Student Training and Recreation (STAR) Complex, 1816 North 15th St.

Who: Nearly 100 companies will be in attendance at this annual job fair, including 

Amazon, CBS Philadelphia/KYW, Jefferson University Hospital, JEVS Human Services, Morgan Properties, PECO Energy/Exelon, SEPTA, Univest Bank, the U.S. Department of Labor and many more. Twenty local non-profit agencies will also take part in the resource village, and more than 1,000 jobseekers are expected to attend the four-hour event.

What: Recent college grads, adult professionals, military veterans and reentry job 

seekers are all encouraged to attend this event, which is Philadelphia’s largest annual job fair and resource village. An on-site mobile computer lab will be set-up, so attendees can apply for jobs at the event. As part of the resource village, community agencies will share information on the valuable and impactful services and resources they provide.

This job fair is a collaborative community presentation of the Temple University Lenfest North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative and the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus.
