State Representative Brian Kirkland (D-159th) hosted a Health Fair in Eddystone Borough on Thursday, February 10th.
The Health Fair was another of Representative Kirkland’s initiatives to continue bringing quality services to the constituents in his district.
Vendors from Independence Blue Cross, Cigna, Crozier Emergency Medical Services, Riddle Memorial Hospital, Everest Urgent Care, Harcum College, Delaware County Intercommunity Health Coordination, Eddystone Bureau Officials, and the Foundation for Delaware County were on hand to dispense life-saving advice.
The Foundation for Delaware County provided Covid testing and vaccines to attendees requiring those services. Riddle Memorial Hospital addressed heart issues, stressing the importance of healthy diets and exercise. The community food bank had a table filled with non-perishable food items for those in need.
