Approximately one year ago, I began creating my 2020 vision board.
Some things on my vision board carried over from years ago. I was able to check off a page from my vision board!! When we launched SingleonSaturdayNite.com in 2012, the original concept for @singleonsaturdaynite was to travel and do the show from various Philly & Beyond locations. We achieved that in Philly and, in 2016, I had a conversation with Christopher Berrios about wanting to do a show from Charlotte, NC. Christopher Berrios was a member of the SOSN panel monthly, and in 2016, he got married and moved to Charlotte.
Since 2016, I’ve still had the vision to hit the road, and in May 2021, it happened. Therapist Niki Felts and I traveled to Charlotte to record a live reunion show with Christopher Berrios and, his wife, Kesia Berrios. The show was recorded in the Executive Lounge at the Hilton Charlotte. The Executive Lounge is an invite-only area in the hotel. There you get free drinks, breakfast, snacks, and complimentary alcoholic drinks. The décor was beautiful and perfect for TV taping.

Kesia & Chris Berrios opens Hannah’s Houses of Refuge
On July 9, 2016, Kesia hailed from Tennessee, marries Christopher Berrios from Philadelphia, and moved to Charlotte. Kesia and Chris met online, and 18 months later, they were married. The two decided to relocate for love.
We had a chance to reunite with Kesia and Chris to catch up on what life is like after marriage. The two agree that life is better together and have opened a new business.
Hannah’s Houses of Refuge is a non-profit called to provide a safe place for those who may have been broken, abused, hurt, or battered. Using a holistic approach to service each person that chooses to connect with Hannah’s House by providing aid and guidance in any area of need. Providing educational programs, affordable housing, mentorship, and providing necessary resources in underprivileged areas. Their goal is to impact one life at a time.
