PHILADELPHIA, July 22, 2022 — The School District of Philadelphia will host a series of hiring events for open school-based support positions across the District. These in-person events at select schools throughout the city will provide job seekers with the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Office of Talent and hiring managers to learn details about various available roles.
The events are:
Wednesday, July 27, 2022 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. South Philadelphia High School, 2101 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19148
Wednesday, August 10, 2022 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Grover Washington Middle School, 201 E Olney Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19120
Wednesday, August 24, 2022 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Solomon Solis-Cohen Elementary School, 7001 Horrocks St, Philadelphia, PA 19149
Open positions include
Bilingual Counseling Assistant, Building Engineer trainees, Bus Attendants, Bus Chauffeur , Bus Chauffeur Trainee, General Cleaners, School Nurses, Special Education Assistant, Student Climate Staff, Supportive Service Assistant, Various Food Services positions
More than 100 individuals attended the first event held last week. Interested candidates have an opportunity to move forward on the spot by completing the first step, which is an exam/interview.
