RJ McDowell will deliver a presentation about Melanin E-Commerce Inc. on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm via zoom.
Mrs. McDowell will discuss blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, connections to the digital divide, the wealth gap, and recidivism.
RJ McDowell is the co-founder and CEO of Melanin E-Commerce Inc. and a board member of the RPAR Foundation. Mrs. McDowell is a veteran of the United States Air Force and has more than 23 years of experience in both federal and commercial information technology acquisition and contracting. Mrs. McDowell successfully led several large federal and commercial programs and contracts, including over a billion dollars in federal modernization programs, full-scope commercial outsourcing contracts, and large science and engineering programs.
This program is presented in partnership with the Charles L. Blockson Collection of African-Americana and the African Diaspora at Penn State Special Collections Library.
The programs are geared toward a general audience and are open to all, including Temple students, faculty, staff, alumni, neighbors, and friends. Registration is encouraged.
