Rip the Runway

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Chester High School opened its doors to the community to showcase the dedication and talent of the students, educators and alumni, to put on a fashion extravaganza that could have rivaled any at New York’s Fashion Week.

Donations from the event benefited a scholarship fund for students headed to college. Students from Chester High School and STEM Academy participated in the fashion show. The originality, imagination and ingenuity of all the participants were on full display as models strutted down the runway, each more spectacular than the previous.

Alumni Steven Walls, Nevets Couture showcased his spectacular designs for a tour De force finale.

A special thank you is extended to CUSD Receiver Nafis Nichols, Superintendent Dr. Craig Parkinson, Principal Brown, Dajuana Flagg-Davis, Joan Neal and all the students, alumni and vendors that supported this event.
