MORRISTOWN, NJ, May 1, 2023 –The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) is delighted to announce that a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony marked the opening of its 20th Mansion in May at Three Fields in the Borough of Mendham, New Jersey. Officials from the Borough of Mendham and leaders from Atlantic Health System, Morristown Medical Center, and the Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center were in attendance.

Mansion in May is the preeminent designer showhouse in the New Jersey-New York area, attracting over 20,000 visitors to the event and the signature fundraiser for the Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center.

“We are grateful to the Women’s Association for choosing the expansion and modernization of our Institute of Bioskills Training and Innovation as the project for their Mansion in May fundraising event at Three Fields,” said Trish O’Keefe, Ph.D., RN, President, Morristown Medical Center, and Senior Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive, Atlantic Health System. “The Institute is part of our unwavering commitment to provide the safest and highest level of care to our community. This Institute offers us the ability for the most advanced simulation training for our medical and clinical teams. Developing new skills continues to be paramount for our highly skilled professionals and ultimately for our patients.”

“Three Fields has a long history and was breathtaking even before its transformation over the last several months,” said Mary Courtemanche, Co-Chair, Mansion in May. “Visitors to Mansion in May will be able to experience the idyllic setting while enjoying the design inspirations of more than 40 interior and landscape designers.”

“The visitor’s day doesn’t end after the tour of this historic, beautifully redesigned mansion – they can look forward to strolling through the beautifully landscapedspaces, assisted by an audio tour,” said Barbara Ruane, Co-Chair, Mansion in May. “And, there is a great café and many fun and unique boutiques to round out their visit.”

Three Fields, a 9,000 square-foot stone, brick, and tile-roofed French manor-style home, was designed by New York architect Greville Rickard for Benjamin Duncan Mosser and his wife, the former Florence Willets Mosford. Three Fields was designed and built between 1928 and 1930 and is beautifully situated on almost 36 acres of pastoral, rolling fields and features many architectural elements.

Mansion in May will be open to the public seven days a week from May 1 to May 31, 2023. Funds raised will benefit the expansion and modernization of the Institute of Bioskills Training and Innovation at Morristown Medical Center.
