The Black Male Community Council of Philadelphia and the Resource Opportunity Center have joined forces and invite you to attend the ‘Real Resources For The People’ on May 6, 2003, at 4300 block of North American Street, Philadelphia, PA, from 12 noon until 6 pm.
‘Our mission is to unite black men to provide a clean, safe, and secure environment for the women, children, and elders of communities through membership and leadership that will embrace our neighborhoods with their present resources to uplift and empower targeted areas of Philadelphia,’ Stanley Crawford.
This event is an excellent opportunity to bring together community members, organizations, and resources to support our mission and improve the lives of those in our neighborhood.
The ROC Collaboration is a group of 25 businessmen and leaders committed to providing services to meet the needs of men, women, and children in the Philadelphia area. We are expecting over 1500 attendees at this event, which will feature 50 resource tables from 50 private and public organizations. Those in attendance ages 18 & over will have access to a plethora of resources, including grocery giveaways, snacks, expungement background information, voter registration, life skills, workforce training registration, training, and certification programs.
