Keys to the knowledge of self (part 2)
American education for Black people has been, for the most part, training designed to reinforce our dehumanization and to ultimately– disconnect us from the power of the African mind.”
Dr. Wade Nobles One of the first things that early European invaders accomplished when first entering the perimeters of Black societies in Africa and all around the world-was to deliberately destroy our greatly rich and abundant libraries. But, when our enemies burned down our beautiful libraries, they did not and could not demolish the libraries housed in our Black minds.
The process of strengthening and re-awakening our minds is an essential objective of African-Centered Education. Once this process has effectively begun, the student will experience spiritual consciousness, unity with nature, an active pineal gland, and the control of inner sensory energy.
Within America’s educational system, we are taught about the basic (5) senses of touch, smell, taste, hearing, and seeing. Our traditional African Centered methodologies and applications taught our ancestors how to tap into and strengthen other senses, literally thousands of years before European invasions occurred. Senses such as telepathy, intuition, and clairvoyance are just a few innate inner senses that were commonly used amongst our people. Thought travels at a rate of 24 billion miles per second. Thought waves have an absolute tremendous power. We as a people must once again develop the techniques to transmit thoughts to other distances and control through vibration.
Black people experience intuition every day, but we ignore it because we don’t understand it. Intuition is the very quick perception of truth by the mind without the intervention of any process of thought. The inner sense that is called clairvoyance (deja-vu) is the ability to see into other dimensions and have a second sight into the awareness of distant objects and events. Countless Black people experience this sense, but very few talk about or try to explain it.
