Academy Award nominee Terrence Howard claims that he owns a trailblazing virtual reality patent.
Making an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Howard claimed ownership of the patent that could change the world. “The entire AR VR world was built off of my first patent that was abandoned because I paid $260,000 for the worldwide patent, but then my lawyers kept sending me these maintenance fees and annuities, and I’m like, these folks are just trying to shake me down. I’m not gonna pay this,” Howard explained.
It’s still making money. This patent has earned over 7 trillion dollars, and you didn’t get a piece, and I haven’t gotten a penny of it,” he added.
Howard also shared that he could “kill gravity,” and he shared that he could debunk the Pythagorean Theorem.
In other business, Howard explains why he’s suing CAA (Creative Artists Agency), and says he’s owed $120 million because of a package deal CAA had with Fox, which resulted in him getting paid $325,000 an episode for “Empire,” while the “The Big Bang Theory” cast was paid $2 million to $3 million per episode, despite “Empire” having more viewers. This case was filed in December. Updates to come.
Its official Focus Features will release “Piece by Piece” in theaters on Friday, October 11. Directed by Morgan Neville, the film features Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay Z, and Snoop Dogg.
“Piece by Piece” is a unique cinematic experience that invites audiences on a vibrant journey through the life of cultural icon Pharrell Williams. Told through the lens of LEGO® animation, turn up the volume on your imagination and witness the evolution of one of music’s most innovative minds. This animated biopic is a cute refreshing look at Pharrell’s story.
