Oh my Lord, what is it going to take to slow down all this violence out here in the world? It’s not only a Philly thing right now. It seems to be a nationwide ‘thing’ as we witness an ugly uptick in the number of casualties and deaths at the hands of people, who in many instances, are just pure-de-evil. I can’t find any other way to explain it.
Why I ask you, did some murderous thugs, yes I’m calling them “thugs” have to have a gunfight on 3rd and South Street on my birthday? To be honest there is no day, not my birthday, not Patti Labelle’s birthday, not Memorial Day, not Father’s Day, there’s no day that’s a good day for killing and lawlessness on our streets. No day.
So why is it happening? It’s happening because our laws are too easy. Criminals know they can do a lot of dirt and only get a little bit of time. Then they can come back out on our streets and create more mayhem, crime, and hurt.
In Grand Rapids, Michigan, one person was killed, and three were injured when gunshots flew on June 5th.
Also, on June 5th in Andrews, South Carolina, 4-people were injured in a shooting. No one lost their life.
On June 5th in Mesa, Arizona, two people were killed and two injured by gunfire in a shooting there.
In Chattanooga, Tennessee on June 5th, two people were killed and another 15 injured in a mass shooting there.
