The printed edition of the SCOOP USA Newspaper, dated March 6, 2023, had a Civics column that focused on the Register of Wills race in Philadelphia. I was able to share information about Tracey Gordon, the incumbent Register of Wills. When it came to two of her opponents, the information about those candidates was harder to come upon. The three candidates that I am aware of who say they want to be Philadelphia’s next Register of Wills are the incumbent, Democrat Tracy Gordon, Democrat John Sabatina, and Democrat Elizabeth Lowe.
John Sabatina, Esq. is an experienced attorney with a passion, he says, for serving the community. He has over 30 years of experience in estate law, and he brings a wealth of knowledge, he says, to the position of Register of Wills. John Sabatina disrobes himself as dedicated to working for the people and honoring their last wishes with integrity and compassion. John Sabatina stated, “I am deeply committed to serving the community as the Register of Wills. My experience combined with my commitment to public service will ensure that everyone’s last wishes are respected while providing a smooth process.”
The only information I could find thus far on Elizabeth Hall Lowe is that she is a graduate of Murrell Dobbins High School in North Philadelphia. She describes herself as a scientist, and she works for SmithKilne. She studied at Morris College; she is the daughter of a preacher.
