Philadelphia 76ers Guard Tyrese Maxey surprised students with gifts and trophies at YSI Family Services Center

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Acting out his version of Santa Claus during this holiday season, Philadelphia 76ers rookie point guard Tyrese Maxey decided to surprise a group of middle school and high school teenagers at YSI’s Crittenton Family Support Center in Germantown for their academic achievements and good grades in the classroom.

The 76ers rookie guard hosted a meet-and-greet event with the teenage students, on Friday morning, November 26, inside the Youth Family Center, where an imaginary red carpet was laid out to honor the teenagers with an exciting award ceremony. There was plenty of food and entertainment for the teens.
