PECO to Host Virtual Appointments to Help Customers Manage Utility Bills

Starting today, PECO, along with PGW and The Philadelphia Water Department, will be hosting virtual appointments to help customers in the Greater Philadelphia region manage their utility bills. Utility reps will be available from each company to assist with a variety of topics, including how to apply for financial assistance programs, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Wednesday through the end of May.  

PECO understands that managing energy bills can be challenging, which is why the company offers options to spread payments over future months in addition to income-qualified programs to help customers with bill credits, energy efficiency and referrals for additional services. In 2021 alone, PECO provided more than $105 million in financial assistance for customers throughout the region, marking a 38% increase from 2020. This year, PECO wants to ensure that customers are cared for and take full advantage of the financial assistance programs available.
