The 2022 Variety Show was the closing graduation of the Next in Line summer program for High School Students. The High School Students learned acting, writing, stage and film production, gaffing, editing, directing, and more during the seven-week program.
Next In Line is an internship program for Philadelphia Youth to explore acting, directing, and producing media and theatrical performances. The program is designed to help students gain valuable insights into the arts and entertainment industry by working closely with experienced professionals in all aspects of production. Students have the chance to develop their skills and gain experience working on real projects for real clients alongside professionals who will support them throughout their careers.
The 2022 Variety Show was held at the Theatre Exile and featured the extraordinary work of the youth. The high school students showcased the skills they learned in the program. The students produced a variety of creative work. They performed, produced, and directed short films, skits, monologues, and more.
