The Montgomery Bus Boycott was a success. The Civil Rights Act 1965 and Voting Rights Act of 1965 ushered in great progress. However, economic equity remains hard to achieve. Martin Luther King Jr.’s last message was about the Redistribution of the Wealth.
As an entrepreneur, we can “Build our own Dream” by increasing our Financial Capabilities and Masterminding the Hustle.
“There is nothing new about poverty. What is new, however, is that we have the resources to get rid of it stated, Martin Luther King, Jr.” (1964 Nobel Peace Prize).
Every single year, for the past 10-years, I have facilitated a Martin Luther King Jr. event revolving around Financial Literacy. Normally, the whole family participates, and while the children increase their financial capabilities with the Youth Financial Reality Fair, the parents attend a Wealth Building Seminar. We do have the resources to get rid of poverty. Our ancestors have left us proof.
