Some entrepreneurs create new ventures, revolutionize a system and transform a business. The results of this lifestyle called entrepreneurship are increased income, job creation, new investments, and an enhanced standard of living while the economy continues to grow.
Since it is Women’s History Month, we must honor all the women who have paved the way for their families, communities, and businesses. Women have made significant business strides in the United States; statistics show that women-owned businesses have increased by 58% since 2007. Almost all women-owned business face challenges, such as difficulty obtaining access to capital, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Despite these difficulties, according to the American Express 2021 report, there are more than 12.9 million women-owned businesses in the United States that employ 9.4 million people and generate $1.8 trillion in revenue.
