On Friday, July 28, 2023, on what had to be one of the hottest days in July 2023, many seniors came out to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, 22nd Street, and Cecil B. Moore Avenue for valuable information and resources. The community center’s gymnasium hosted more than 30 city and state agencies, who spent the mid-day speaking with seniors and informing them of available programs.
