Recording artist Marcus Jordan landed the coveted #1 position on Gospel music radio charts recently for his hit single “Call on the Name.” The single spent 18 weeks on Billboard Gospel Indicator’s Top 30 and continues to climb the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart.
With catchy tunes and heartwarming lyrics, “Call on the Name” is rapidly becoming a beloved song across the country.
Marcus says that he simply, wants to encourage people. He says “I love when people tell me something I wrote helps get them through their day. My prayer is that God continues to use me.” The single is the second one and title track from his sophomore album, released last year.
In 2019 he presented at the 34th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, and performed live at the 25th Essence Festival and interviewed. Marcus desires to stay on the path of writing life-changing music that encourages and inspires others to live a life pleasing to the Lord.
Marcus also wants to continue to grow his record label—Marcus Jordan Music Group. Through constant hard work and devotion, Marcus is well on his way to becoming a household name.
