PHILADELPHIA – Scholarships to more than 150 tuition-based schools in Philadelphia are still available for under-resourced families looking for a safe, quality education option in the 2024 – 2025 school year. Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) is accepting scholarship applications until March 1, 2024, and families can apply here: www.csfphiladelphia.org/scholarships.
All CSFP students will receive scholarships through 8th-grade thanks to program updates made during the last lottery cycle as part of the Breaking Barriers Campaign. Scholarship support was previously limited to four years. Additionally, all students will receive a minimum scholarship award of $1,200, which is an increase for most families. The maximum award amount is $3,200.
CSFP scholarships are awarded through a random lottery and are available for up to three children per family per year.
Applications can be accessed online at www.csfphiladelphia.org/scholarships/ through 11:59 p.m. on March 1. Scholarship recipient selections will be made and announced in mid-March.

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) is a privately funded program whose mission is to provide financial access for students from under-resourced Philadelphia families to safe, high-quality, tuition-based schools. It is the largest provider of scholarship support for grades K-8 in Pennsylvania. CSFP currently serves more than 6,100 children in K-8th grade enrolled at more than 150 area tuition-based schools, who are receiving between $1,200 and $3,200 per child per year.
