The Touch Black Breast Cancer Alliance officially partnered with the 2023 Pink Awards to continue driving the collaborative efforts of patients, survivors, advocates, advocacy organizations, healthcare professionals, researchers, and pharmaceutical companies to work collectively, with accountability, towards the common goal of eradicating Black Breast Cancer.
“I started hosting pink events while I was still in treatment to educate everyone about early African American detection and effective cancer prevention practices. I also wanted to encourage cancer warriors to keep their faith while fighting the greatest battle of their lives. I am truly blessed to have my community supporting me in this endeavor and being a part of the next level of The Pink Awards.” – April Love, Founder and Executive Producer of The Pink Awards.
The underlying goal of the Pink Awards was to bring breast cancer awareness to the forefront and provide counseling and support to breast cancer patients and survivors, and the 2023 Pink Awards did just that.
