There is a very familiar advertising slogan that says, “You’re in good hands with Allstate.” Now, I don’t know how true that statement is, but I do know that certain things can be done when the right hands are handling the situation. Let me show you what I mean. Somebody say, “Break it down, Brown!”
Well, a basketball in my hand is worth about $19, but a basketball in Lebron James’ hand is worth about $33 million. It depends on whose hand it’s in.
A baseball in my hand is worth about $6, but a baseball in Alex Rodriguez’s hand is worth $29 million. It depends on whose hand it’s in.
A tennis racket is useless in my hands, but a tennis racket in the hands of Venus and Serena Williams is worth millions. It depends on whose hand it’s in.
A rod in my hand will keep away an angry dog, but a rod in Moses’ hand will part the mighty Red Sea. It depends on whose hand it’s in.
A slingshot in my hand is a kid’s toy, but a slingshot in David’s hand is a dangerous weapon. It depends on whose hand it’s in.
Two fish and five loaves of bread in my hand are a couple of fish sandwiches, but two fish and five loaves of bread in Jesus’ hand will feed thousands. It depends on whose hand it’s in.
Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse, but nails in Jesus Christ’s hands will produce salvation for the entire world. It depends on whose hand it’s in.
Now, the point I’m trying to make is this–if you are struggling with some issues, fears, problems, worries, or concerns, don’t put them in the teacher, the preacher, the doctor, the lawyer, or the counselor’s hand. No, you take all your cares and concerns and put them in God’s hand.
Yes, beloved, do like the songwriter said, “You hold to His hand, God’s unchanging hand. Hold to His hand God’s unchanging hand. Build your hopes on things eternal. You just hold to God’s unchanging hand.
Your issues in God’s hands: PRICELESS!
Now, I can’t speak for you, but I’m holding on to His hand. Whose hand are you holding on to?
