If the Founder of Black History Month were alive I wonder what he’d think of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

Reading Time: < 1 minute

I want to believe that everyone knows the name Carter G. Woodson and who he was. However, the reality is that some people may not have any knowledge of who he is, and that would suit Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just fine.

You know, he’s the Governor pushing hard for a ban on diversity, equity, and inclusion programs at state colleges.

Before I get into his latest schemes to derail Black History in Florida and, if given the opportunity, across America, let me share a bit about the African American King, who was daring and bold enough to create the first Black History week, and later Black History Month, Mr. Carter G. Woodson.

It’s Black History Month, and even as Ron DeSantis and other racists in business suits with starched shirts and ties on spread their cancer of hate and disrespect to African Americans, some with big titles and long money, let us not forget African American history, no matter what some may wish. Trying to whitewash history and delete what makes them look bad and what tells the whole truth and nothing but the truth–won’t really fly. We know you can’t rewrite history and really get away with it.
