Dementia-Alzheimers is a condition that affects memory. When we have loved ones who live through this progressive disease, we often don’t know how or what to do. I wish “I am Not Myself” was around when my mother first started showing signs of Dementia.
My mother was the type of person that would get up and go. She was the person that helped everyone and did everything. While we were growing up, she taught aerobics, was a brownie mom, and was a seamstress, among many other things. When she became a grandmother, there was nothing that she would not do for her grandkids.Â
