ROOKLYN, October 29, 2024 — Higher Heights for America, the political home for Black women, continues leading with its #BlackWomenRun Database—a comprehensive and essential resource highlighting over 600 Black women candidates running in the 2024 general election. This unique, searchable tool has become a trusted platform for voters seeking vital information about Black women candidates across local, state, and federal races.

With over a decade of commitment to mobilizing Black women, Higher Heights remains a driving force in amplifying Black women’s political leadership. The organization boasts more than 75,000 active members, and a network of over 150,000 that have been instrumental in supporting hundreds of Black elected officials. In the pivotal 2024 election, the #BlackWomenRun Database is a crucial resource as Black women across the nation aim to make their voices heard in historic ways.

Highlights from the Database include:
·1 Black Woman running for President of the United States in the general election
· 3 Black Women running for U.S. Senate in the general election
· 45 Black Women running for U.S. House of Representatives in the general election
· 3 Black Women running for Statewide Office in the general election
· 401 Black Women running for State Legislative Offices in the general election
· 12 Black Women running for Mayor in the general election, including 6 Black Women running for Mayor in top 100 cities by population.
