Gun violence is being perpetrated in epidemic proportions throughout the United States. However, it appears Governor Wolf and Pennsylvania Legislators are delivering on promises to be proactive at community levels in steaming and preventing the spread.
Governor Wolf, Senator John Kane, State Representative Brian Kirkland, Chester Mayor Thaddeus Kirkland, Councilwoman Elizabeth Williams, Chester Police Commissioner Steven Gretsky, Nether Providence Police Chief David Splain, Haverford Township Chief of Police John F. Viola, State Representative Tim Carney, State Representative Mike Zabel, State Senator Anthony Williams, advocates for a safer Pennsylvania and many Chester residents and civic leaders gathered at Veteran’s Memorial Field to announce a $50,000 grant to the Chester Panthers Foundation.
