Lord, help us to have a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Amen.
Today I want to share with you my:
“Ten Rules for Good Mental Health”
1) I will mind my own business and not gossip about other folk’s issues because
I have my own.
2) I will not wear my feelings on my sleeve or be so sensitive that I look for personal offenses, slights, or think folk is always out to hurt me.
3) I will wear a smile every day. When I am gloomy, I will not pass my gloom on to others for them to have a bad day too.
4) I will be considerate of others and not be so headstrong and think my way is the only way.
5) I will play the game of life fairly and treat others the way that I want to be treated.
6) I will hold my temper and each night asks God to forgive me as I learn to forgive others in my life.
7) I will face the world each morning believing that it is a gift and a day The Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it with confidence, bravery, and determination.
8) I will move forward each day, realizing that I can do all things through Christ who can strengthen me.
9) I will not be too egotistical to pray, thinking I got it all in control. For the battle is not mine but The Lords.
10) I will keep all my mental Health appointments and take all of my Medications as Directed. Amen!
I WILL KEEP ALL MY MENTAL HEALTH APPOINTMENTS AND TAKE ALL MY MEDICATIONS AS DIRECTED. AMEN!
