Anthony Henderson Strong passed away on Wednesday, May 11, from lymphoma at Grady Hospital in Atlanta. Anthony styled for a plethora of celebrities, from Eve to Marc Lamont Hill to the Daily News Sexy Singles. He’s also the Executive Director of 17 Days of Fashion. More importantly, Anthony was a devoted Husband to Jason Strong, father, son to Ms. Jackie, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Anthony lived in Atlanta, but I couldn’t tell because he never missed an occasion to be in Philadelphia, his hometown. Anthony began his career with the popular video show Urban X-pressions. Anthony made things happen; he coordinated an interview with the Whispers and helped with community events. On behalf of Ed Box Brunson and the entire Urban X-pressions family, we offer our sincere condolences for the loss of our dear friend.
Anthony always celebrated the show and showed love to me, and I’m grateful that I could connect with him at Ike’s birthday party on December 21, 2021. My eyes are tearing, and I pray for all who knew and loved Anthony Henderson Strong.
I remember the day Anthony Henderson was proud of my fashion selection for his 17 Days of Fashion Event. When the premiere Celebrity Fashion Stylist compliments you on your attire, it makes you know–you are going in the right direction. Those moments make me smile, and I will cherish them forever.
