Ladies, who don’t love an excuse to dress up, have brunch, shop, watch entertainment, and receive flowers?! That is precisely how it all went down at the First Annual FlowHer Awards.
The FlowHer Awards combined all of the things we love to design a beautifully florally decorated event for Women in Business. “We are in the Business of Giving Her Flowhers while she’s Here,” said CEO Brittany Miller.
As you entered the venue, we were greeted by beautiful women in areas of media; all set up with lights, cameras, and the action included the guests. C. Alexandra and Diamond Alessandra of @CTheMediaTV flew in from Atlanta to meet and interview Philadelphia’s powerful women in business. I also had to do a little shopping with Savane Wellness, offering products designed to nourish a women’s body. The FlowHer awards were designed to celebrate and uplift women in business, and after trying the products of @savanewellness I am hooked!
Mina Say What hosted the FlowHer Awards @Minasaywhat 100.3fm and SIRIUS XM. Mina Say What also served as moderator for the Expert Panel consisting of Radio Legend, Ms. Patty Jackson, Philly’s favorite Latina, Delilah Dee, Philly’s own DJ Diamond Kuts, and Award-winning advocate, author, and Survivor, Kendra Hall. CEO Brittany Miller joined in on the discussion to share the story of building the Brittany Miller Brand behind the scenes.
As the ladies anticipated the delicious brunch prepared by celebrity chef Kia Denise they enjoyed a live cello performance by Aijee cello and a dance by JADE REBECCA @jade.Rebecca97
The highlight of the formal FlowHer Awards day event was The SunFlowHer Awards recognition. The awards were appropriately titled. Sunflower, which has developed unique meanings worldwide but commonly means adoration, loyalty, and long life. The fully bloomed Sunflower represents the characteristics of each honoree.
The SunflowHer Awards were given to Radio Legend, Ms. Patty Jackson; Philly’s favorite Latina, Delilah Dee; Philly’s own DJ Diamond Kuts, and Award-winning advocate, author, and Survivor, Kendra Hall. A special FlowHer Girl Award was given to @thephreshprincess1 Congratulations to each of you. May God continue to allow us all to bloom!
Saved Singles Summit will honor Shelly Shell Williams
The SAVED SINGLES SUMMIT is the premier social event, which brings together Christian singles from area churches for a day of fun, empowerment, fellowship, and exploring new opportunities for long-term, God-honoring relationships.
The Saved Single Summit is an all-day experience and will include the Christian Singles Service Awards. I will be a recipient of the Singles Service award for my work as the Executive Producer of Single on a Saturday Night.
