WASHINGTON, Black PR Wire – In a new video released in partnership with Gates Ventures and Open Educational Resources Project (OER), Dr. Margot Brown, vice president of Justice and Equity at Environmental Defense Fund, explains the impact of climate change on people’s health and the health inequities it exacerbates.
“As climate change continues to disrupt global communities, it is increasingly critical for our children to understand its impacts on human health and health disparities,” said Dr. Brown. “We must prepare today’s youth to lead through the climate crisis. A good first step is providing the next generation with tools and resources to advocate for a healthy and just future”.
The video will be published as part of a series on climate change through the OER Project, an initiative dedicated to providing free educational resources to high school and middle school teachers and education professionals.
