The Borough of Eddystone hosted a Veteran’s Affairs Expo on Friday, May 13th, at Lighthouse Hall in Eddystone, Pa. The event was well represented and supported by vendors from: The National Association of Veterans Affairs Chaplains, Military Chaplains Association, Center City Philadelphia Veterans Center, US Department of Veterans Affairs, The Share Program, Taylor Made Vets, Veterans of Foreign Wars, EDSI, SEI, US Family Health Plan, Impact, Veterans Medical Center, Hire One, PA Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Coatesville Medical Center, Veterans Crisis Line, Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the American Red Cross, and the Office of State Representative Brian Kirkland.
Veterans from every branch of the military took the opportunity to educate themselves, connect with the resources available at the event, and also obtain referrals for other veteran’s services. The veterans received resume and employment support, legal, financial information, Chaplain services and more.
