PHILADELPHIA, November 22, 2022 – Dunkin’ franchisees in the Philadelphia area – all of whom are independent business people in their communities – are always looking for ways to support those in need. Dunkin’ of Greater Philadelphia announced the launch of its 12th annual “Roast Hunger” program, which helps fight hunger in the Philadelphia community.
Beginning on November 24, Thanksgiving Day, through December 9, for every Large Hot Coffee purchased by Dunkin’ Rewards members, Dunkin’s Philadelphia-area franchisees will donate $1 to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation to help support regional food bank partners as they strive to end hunger in the Philadelphia region: Philabundance, Food Bank of Delaware, Food Bank of South Jersey, Helping Harvest, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania. All funds raised by the Philadelphia-area franchisees through the Roast Hunger program will stay local to the region, supporting our neighbors in need this holiday season. Dunkin’ Rewards members can make their coffee purchases count by ordering ahead with the Dunkin’ Mobile App or scanning their loyalty ID QR code in the Dunkin’ Mobile App at checkout. Guests can sign up for Dunkin’ Rewards on www.DunkinDonuts.com or through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.
“Dunkin’ is thrilled for the return of our favorite holiday tradition here in Philadelphia: our Roast Hunger program. Roast Hunger is the perfect opportunity for our Philadelphia-area franchisees and guests to come together and give back this holiday season,” said Perry Shah, Dunkin’ franchisee and chairman of the Dunkin’ Philadelphia Advertising Committee. “With the program, we look forward to supporting these five regional food banks in their fight to end hunger in our communities.”
