Join True Light Fellowship Church on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm for their Drive ‘n Drop Shoe fundraiser. The aim is to gather over 2,500 gently worn or new shoes to support individuals in developing countries. Your donated shoes will be combined with contributions from national shoe drives and sent to micro-businesses in various countries.
To participate, simply drive to the parking lot of True Light Fellowship Church and hand over your gently worn or new shoes, sneakers, boots, or sandals of any size, from children to adults. Ministry leaders will be on hand to collect the shoes. Please tie the shoes together or use rubber bands, to ease transportation and sorting.
For those unable to attend the Drive ‘n Drop on February 17th, the church offers in-office drop-off times from Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 1 pm; Saturday, 11 am to 2 pm; and Sunday, 8 am to 12 pm until the end of February.
By contributing, you are helping individuals in developing countries access quality footwear, a crucial need for those who often walk long distances to and from school and work. Your donations can profoundly impact someone’s journey while also supporting micro-entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses and providing for their families.
True Light Fellowship Church, led by Sr. Pastor and Founder Dr. Wesley Pinnock, is situated in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia. Through initiatives like the Drive ‘n Drop, the church fulfills its mission of “Reaching to Rescue…Teaching to Transform.”
