Everybody knows the story. Once the pandemic became a reality, and a lot of people were forced to stay home, businesses had to shut down, and people were out of work. Children were out of school. Houses of worship weren’t open for services. It’s like the world stopped. Luckily, some people got to keep their jobs but work remotely from the comfort of home.
Our government started stepping up to the plate as soon as they could to assist Americans in the worst shape (those who had no income coming in) just to help them keep afloat. To get the government assistance, you needed to apply, and you needed to be honest about being “in need.”
