Do you know where your children are?

Do you know where your children are?

And most importantly, do you know their friends, associates, their walkies, their networks?

What’s Up Everybody? I’m giving thanks to the Creator for allowing me to once again get through some very difficult and trying times! Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him, for His Love and Mercy have prevailed once again! There’s None Greater Than He. Now, here it is!

Greetings, Friends and Family of SCOOP USA MEDIA! May we come together in one accord to understand the significance and beauty of sharing our ideals, our thoughts, our engaging and interactions with one another to bring forth the wherewithal and powerful influences to renew, restore, re-energize, revitalize and re-invigorate a growing, prospering, organized and loving Community! We hear and see the stories on the news of the sharp declines in violence and homicides in the city. Nonetheless, we encounter daily violent occurrences and destructive killings, particularly with our young people! We are greatly concerned with our children now back in school. We recognize that there are many resources available, but for whatever reasons, still many of our youth are not utilizing these great opportunities, so they are continually falling through the cracks.

A recent statistic from Mapping Philadelphia’s Gun Violence Crisis states that to date, there have been 187 homicides in 2024, decreasing 38% from 2023! There is vital information available on this topic that you can research and find yourself, so I will not be speaking from statistical data but the hearts, minds, and street conversations of everyday people. Case in point, there have been many conversations ongoing regarding the school shooting at Apalachee High School, and I will add to the conversation by stating that there is a grave difference in what took place there as opposed to the violence we are confronted with each and every day. Speaking in light of the fact that the Tale of Two Cities represents a great classic literary reading, which I was going to display so that one would clearly understand the point I want to bring in making an analogy of Apalachee’s shootings and shootings here in our city! After giving it deep thought, the analogy is not the Tales of Two Cities, but it’s the perilous realization of one nation torn apart by gun violence and the magnitude of its impact! Yes, I wanted to focus on the shootings where PARENTS BROUGHT GUNS as opposed to communities fighting to get and keep guns away from their children, but the issue with parents buying guns for their children is a story within itself! The bottom line is guns that are being used to petrify and destroy the fabric of civil society make their marks just by the act itself. So, parents, families, and caretakers of our youth, are you aware of what those you are responsible for are doing, what they are planning, and who they are hanging around with? Most of the violence seems to be strategic and purposely planned.

Now, to close, please be more mindful of what is taking place in your home. Most importantly, the election is Tuesday, November 5, 2024! Vote Like Your Life Depends On It Because It Does! Eating Cats, Dogs, and Pets are the highlighted issues of today! If you don’t vote, your issues will be ignored. Just Pushed Aside! Therefore, You Must Exercise Your Right To Vote. Do Not Let Them Count You Out! Vote Is A Must!!!
