DGX announces second location in Philadelphia

GOODLETTSVILLE, TENN. – April 28, 2020 – DGX is excited to announce it is currently under construction on its second Philadelphia location at 1901 Callowhill St. in the Franklintown neighborhood with plans to open the store this fall. DGX opened its first location in the Schmidt Commons neighborhood in September 2017.
DGX Philadelphia in Franklintown is specially designed to meet the unique needs of customers in the city’s vibrant metropolitan city center and seeks to provide positive benefits to the downtown community by offering an affordable retail option in a modern retail format.
The store is expected to provide customers with approximately 4,600 sales floor square feet of convenient, easy in-and-out retail space while providing a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, an expanded health and beauty section, frozen and refrigerated food offerings, pet supplies, candies, and snacks, paper products, and home cleaning supplies. The store also features a carefully edited assortment of home décor, electronics, and seasonal offerings, as well as a checkout lane geared toward a high-volume store with the goal of providing a quick and easy check out for customers.
