Haven of Hope Ministries came together with other partners in the community to give back to the citizens of Chester. The Ministry has faced its own challenges in the past, with a fire destroying their sanctuary, but through the trial of rebuilding, they’ve managed to stay focused on the community.
There was something for everyone. There was clothing, household items, winter coats, health care information, senior services, pampers, baby wipes, and an abundance of food. There were even some young budding entrepreneurs in the mix, selling Little Lulu’s Lemonade, a definite crowd pleaser on a hot summer day.
