In spectacular fashion, the City of Chester sent children back to the classroom, signaling the unofficial end to summer.
Youngsters and their parents were treated to a virtual cornucopia of goodies and much-needed and appreciated school supplies. Attendees munched on burgers, fries, hot sausages, chicken fingers, water ice and soft drinks as they gathered supplies to send their children back to school.
There was information on keeping safe as we come out of the pandemic. Voter Registration was on hand to sign up unregistered voters and impart the importance of voting.
