Chester Chaplains & local businessman hold safe schools fundraiser

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Chester Chaplains partnered with local businessman Jamil Cottman, owner of J &M Water Ice and the Walnut Street Deli, to support Chester families by dispensing school supplies, hand sanitizer, masks and more. With inflation and the rising cost of goods and services, events of this kind help alleviate some of the burden parents and guardians feel having to gear young learners up for the school year ahead.

Chaplains Lisa R. Dennis, Tamika Gibson, Brother Shakur Abdul-Ali, Hilda Campbell, Belinda Boyer, Kendon Gibson, Febus Hunter, and Rodney Bradley greeted children and their parents, wishing them a safe and successful 2022/23 academic year.
