PHILADELPHIA, PA- Change Our Future, a non-profit seeking to empower youth through education, advocacy, and developmental programs, presents Art & Sole: Sneaker Ball Toy Drive hosted by Founders Super Bowl LII Champion Rodney McLeod Jr. and Erika McLeod, taking place on Monday, December 6, from 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. at the Arts Ballroom, located on 1324 Locust St. Philadelphia, PA. The features of this highly anticipated fundraising gala celebration include a two-story venue transformed into sneaker heaven, a silent and live auction, live music, several interactive stations, and the opportunity to support a worthy cause for youth by biding on some of the most sought out sneakers in the world.
Rodney McLeod Jr., Co-Founder of Change Our Future says, “Our Sneaker Ball fundraiser will be a pivotal moment since our foundation’s inception. This annual event will not only educate our guests on the positive impact our programs have on the community but also allow them to connect with our overall mission to empower youth.”
Featuring a one-of-a-kind pop-up sneaker museum showcasing some of the rarest, classic, and exclusive sneakers donated by local boutiques, this annual fundraising event celebrating sneaker culture will set the tone for the foundation’s annual 12 Days of Christmas Campaign. The gala will include a curated chef expedition where Sneaker Ball attendees will indulge in delectable cuisine paired with specialty cocktails. The Taste of Philadelphia experience will feature some of Philadelphia’s well-known chefs and up-and-coming local tastemakers. The live and silent auction will include more than $100,000 worth of memorabilia, including Jack Daniels sneakers, a Breakfast at Tiffany’s experience, a W Hotel spa package, Acro lessons, a Patron experience, and more.

All attendees are asked to bring a new or gently used pair of sneakers or toys to fill up the sneaker wall and holiday sleigh. The foundation will distribute these donated items to over 100 local youth.
Key sponsors include Macallan, Tito’s, Jack Daniels, Sanalife, and United Charitable. All donations and proceeds from the event will increase resources, help support Change Our Future programs and initiatives, and bring awareness and support to youth in the community.
To date, Change Our Future has served hundreds of youths in the Philadelphia area through various initiatives, including youth development, education, health and wellness, and community development. “Our inaugural Sneaker Ball fundraiser will celebrate the foundation’s impact and help raise funds to expand our programs,” says John Suggs, Executive Director of Change Our Future. “As we move forward, one of our major goals is to enhance Change Our Future’s footprint in the community and provide sustainable, innovative opportunities to future youth leaders.”
