Carolyn Wilson says It’s Happening! 8th Annual Celebrating YOU Women’s Conference & Expo

It’s Happening was the 8th Annual Celebrating YOU Women’s Conference (CYWC) theme, which happened powerfully. The Visionary Carolyn Wilson did it again, bringing hope and joy to Philadelphia. The 8th Annual Celebrating YOU Women’s Conference (CYWC) & Expo was a huge success celebrating and honoring over 22 speakers, three filmmakers, seven authors, five honorees, and a special guest that made it all possible. Special thanks to Pollock Furs, RockTrue Media, Gozi House Production, Mastermind Films, Kat with the Hat, Andrea Enterprises, PIFF, B.M.B. Consults, WBNC Radio, I am Lady, and Host Shelly Shell Williams. 

Wow, wow! Do the math, over 30 magnificent leaders pouring their knowledge, sharing their stories, and uplifting the attendees. There was no way not to leave more enlightened. 

After two years of being virtual, Carolyn declared it was time to bring back the live experience to the 8th ANNUAL ~ CELEBRATING YOU WOMEN’S CONFERENCE & EXPO. The two-day event was filled with motivation, elevation, and celebration. 

Day one of CYWC featured magnificent speakers; the Why Men Don’t Talk Panel, Filmmakers Panel, The H.E.R. Story panel, and music. Women and a few good men gathered for this powerhouse expo geared towards preparing for your next big thing: 

• Starting a business 

• Looking for a new job/changing careers 

• Starting an exercise program toward health & wellness 

• Volunteering in your community 

• Returning to school 

Carolyn Wilson said, come prepared to leave with new possibilities for you. 

Day two was an all-out celebration of Women on the Move. The evening gala was a red-carpet affair with interviews by Andrea Blassingame and the event hosted by Shelly Shell Williams. The evening began with an incredible performance by ten-year-old Paris, aka P-Yonce, a motivational speech by the keynote speaker, Steve The Legacy, author, inventor, TEDx speaker, and more.
